What a House Junk Removal Includes

A mixed house load, with a refrigerator and household junk, on a Clutter Busters Junk Removal cleanout

A house call is a mixed load

Residential junk removal is the house load a trash day will not take. The living room usually has a sofa, which is furniture removal. A bedroom has a mattress and a box spring. The kitchen has a refrigerator that is already unplugged, which is appliance removal. Those ride together when they fit the truck.

You walk the rooms and point at what leaves. What you want to keep stays where you set it. Bagged trash goes with the furniture. We do not sort donations, and we do not leave a pile at the curb for a later pickup.

What has to be ready before the truck arrives

Photos of each room are the free estimate. A garage that looks half full from the door is often full once the shelves are in the frame, so send the corners too. Tell us the floor. A second story and a turn at the landing change the carry.

Unplug appliances and empty them enough to tip. Water and gas need to be off. We do not disconnect a gas line, we do not cut a hard-wired connection, and we do not defrost a unit that is still running. A refrigerator built into the cabinets is not the same lift as one rolled into the garage. Say so in the photos.

Stairs and tight halls are part of the job

We carry it out of the room. You do not need to drag it to the driveway. A table or a bookcase that will not fit through the door comes apart so it can leave. A sectional that will not bend at the landing gets tipped, not forced. A photo of the piece and a photo of the stairs tells us more than a measurement.

That is normal on houses in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Tampa, and Brandon. An upright piano is its own lift. Doorways and the turn at the bottom of the stairs decide whether it comes out in one piece, which is piano removal.

The garage is often the rest of the stop

Boxes that never got unpacked, a dead freezer, and bagged trash are a garage cleanout, and they can leave with the house load. If a box is staying, put it with the keep pile before we start, or point at it while we walk. We do not open every box and decide. You do.

A mattress can stay on the frame. We do not need it on the floor first. A bunk bed's rails and ladder come apart and can go if you want them gone. A wet mattress is the same haul. Bag it if you can. If you cannot, say so in the photo.

When the house has to be empty

If the whole house has to be empty for a sale or a family, that is an estate cleanout. Clothes, dishes, and the boxes in a closet go when you say they go. We do not hold an estate sale and we do not pick heirlooms out of a drawer. A full house can take more than one trip. The photos tell us that before the day is booked.

A rental between tenants is an investor property cleanout. A vacant house after a bank sale is a foreclosure cleanout. Lockbox access is normal. We haul what is loose. We do not repair, paint, change locks, or store anything. A shed or a deck that still has to come down is demolition, and the utilities have to be off before anyone cuts.

One truck, or a trailer you load yourself

If the pile fits, it leaves on that visit. If you would rather stack it yourself, a dump trailer rental is the other option. You hitch it and you fill it. When it comes back, we dump the load. A piano, a built-in appliance, or a shed that is still standing is not a trailer job.

The truck is based in St. Petersburg and runs Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, and Hillsborough counties, including Spring Hill, Wesley Chapel, and New Port Richey. Call or text (727) 358-2444 and send the photos. That is enough to price the load.
